Before becoming obsessed with VAM, my previous affliction was a mania for collecting early big box PC games. A bit like VAM packaging, I loved the artwork and all the goodies that came in the boxes along with the games. Anyway, they were stuffed in the loft 10 years ago to make way for Action Man, but I got them down recently to see what was there so I could try and photograph and catalogue them to sell the lot to a dealer. Unfortunately, my plans to make some space in the loft and raise some cash are being scuppered somewhat by my son, who wants to keep hold of the best ones!
There are 14 archive boxes full of them, from early Elite on 5.25" floppy disks, first version of Doom, to lots of LucasArts classics including some really rather rare games.
I know it's a long way removed from VAM, but those of you of a certain age might have some amusement from seeing how many of them you remember. I'm not sure what the chances are of getting them to work again, but that's not really the point!

The DVD PC version is very valuable because it has better quality videos than the playstation version.
