I recently got this reproduction Japanese soldier from an e-bay seller. The back stamp says Cotswold China but i'm not sure about the origins of the uniform and accessories? There are obvious differences between this and the Hasbro 1960's version, namely this has no holster or sidearm and the buttons on the tunic are very different. It looks good as a display piece though, until i can afford an original Hasbro ASOTW edition!
..the repro medal i added for the finishing touch.

Cotswold Collectibles is a website based in Washington state in the US. They deal in 12 inch Joe, AM, Dragon etc. Vintage and Repro. They also sell reproductions of Joe/AM items. They have their own line called the Elite Brigade. They also sell figure sets which I would say is what this figure is. They're a great site to deal with for those of us in America but I would image shipping to the UK is quite expensive since it has to go across the continent before it even reaches the Atlantic Ocean. They are also on Facebook.
i got my japanese soldier from Doncaster toy fair about 4 years ago. Its a backyard patrol outfit on a cotswold body,So i fluffed it out with parts from cotswold. Its a very nice figure and goes nicely with my first issue marine.
Cotswold is a great place to buy any 1.6 items but its a minimum purchase of $25 dollars which isn't bad but since the british postal service went to private ownership they've added an import tax which is robbery and way outta proportion so if you,r willing to pay that you,ll get some great gear there
